INDIAN SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS TERRORISM LAW

In a decision issued today, the Supreme Court of India rejected several challenges to the Prevention of Terrorism Act. For American observers, perhaps the most interesting challenge was that the central government had exceeded its constitutional authority by intruding on matters of state competence.
