Eric Muller notes that today is the 62nd anniversary of Executive Order 9066, the order that set in motion the internment of 100,000 individuals on the basis of Japanese ancestry. At the internment memorial in Washington DC (just northwest of the capitol building), you can read the words above right.

It's at a relatively busy intersection, but the memorial itself opens up a space for quiet reflection.
