I should of let you keep that damned book! Pick up June's VARIETY FAIR for a scathing indictment of the Denver Police Department by Doctor Thompson. It is about the Lisl Auman(sp?) case. felony murder. she was in the back seat of a police cruiser when a guy who picked her up, that day, shot and killed a Denver officer. She was in custody for upwards of 10 minutes before the officer was shot. She was convicted under the felony murder statute, which apparantly is some sort of 'draconian' law from years ago. PAYBACK, basically. Someone has to pay! The Colorado Supreme court has taken the case on, however, and have sent some signs that seem to indicate that this case will be reversed. Read it Prof., you'll enjoy it thoroughly. PEACE.
